The company prioritises skills upliftment in
order to promote and advance identified
leaders, with emphasis on black candidates. 
However, the skills transfer and enterprise
development programme extends beyond the
company and in 1998, Pontins in joint venture
with BEE partners established Legadima C.C.
- a black-owned company.  Pontins has since
engaged in capacity-building, skills transfer
joint ventures with Legadima and assisted with
direct investment into the company.
